WHAT and WHY of collecting personal data

When you engage with Align Executive Support Services, some personal information about you is recorded including your name, contact details, notes of session conversations and written communication to you and from you.

Your information is kept for the purpose of serving you effectively. Contact details will be used only for communicating with you about matters related to your supervision or mentoring.

Notes of conversations and written communication are kept to ensure support is based on accurate information (and not relying on John’s memory). Notes of sessions may be used (for research, writing or training) in an aggregated form that maintains your anonymity. You may request that your data be excluded from being used in this way.

Your data is not shared. Information on paper is kept in a secure place. Electronic information about you is kept on devices which are always password protected. A backup, also password protected, is kept in the Cloud. You may request a copy of information kept about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.

At the conclusion of your relationship with Align Executive Support Services, any information about you is kept for one year and then permanently deleted. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Note: Your rights indicated in this privacy policy are not absolute and may be limited by legislation that requires records to be subpoenaed as part of legal process.
